Violence continues to erupt across the streets of Chicago throughout the weekend leaving 27 people shot and at least 7 people killed.
Chicago police are fighting to help put an end to the gun violence in Chicago with little help from Mayor Lightfoot. The shootings this weekend killed at least 7 people one of them a 9 year old boy.
One community rallied together pleading for change. A motorcycle group organized a ride to address the ongoing violence in the streets of Chicago.

Seven children have been killed from gunshots since the beginning of June, with the latest victim being a 9 year old boy this weekend.
“They are very scared; they are scared to come outside, they are scared to sit in their front rooms now, some scared to go outside because they might not make it back home,”
