Shortly before 6 pm on Sunday Robinson was walking down the street holding his daughter’s hand when a dark sedan slowed down and a passenger opened fire, striking Robinson in the chest. The video captures his daughter screaming and running away. Fortunately she was not hit during the incident.

Robinson was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.

New York City has seen a dramatic increase in crime since the plainclothes anti crime unit was disbursed by Mayor DeBlasio.

In a press conference held Monday morning, DeBlasio refused to take blame for the increase in crime as a result of his decision. However he blamed the increase in crime on the coronavirus.

Over the weekend at least 49 people were shot in New York City and 8 people were killed.
