For the second night in a row protesters moved violently through Washington D.C. as law enforcement fought to keep them back from the White House.
In Downtown Washington D.C. the streets were filled with broken glass and flames as protesters set off fireworks and hurled objects at officers.
National Guard troops, the U.S. Park Police and the Secret Service all fought to keep protesters from getting into the White House.
Officers were forced to use tear gas, riot shields and batons to push back against the protesters.
Protest in Washington D.C. began on Friday as protesters pushed past barricades and fought with the secret services as they attempted to get on White House Grounds. At one point on Friday night into Saturday morning protesters went after a Fox News Crew.
Washington D.C. is just one of many cities in the United States that dealt with violent protesters. Across the nation people were injured and killed and property was destroyed as people took to the street protesting the death of George Floyd.
