A Chick-Fil-A in Texas went above and beyond for five employees who are graduating from high school by holding a commencement ceremony for them in the parking lot.
Five employees at Chick-Fil-A got to celebrate their graduation from high school this past week in a socially distanced ceremony.
Members of management at a Chick-Fil-A in San Antonio decided to honor their employees who won’t have the opportunity to have a traditional high school ceremony due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“While this may not be how you guys pictured graduation a few years ago, months ago, or even days ago, we wanted to make sure that you guys were celebrated in a way that we could all be here and celebrate you guys for the accomplishment you have made. We know it took a lot of hard work and determination, so we did not want that to go uncelebrated.”

Several teachers also attended the celebration to honor their students. Each graduate walked down a red carpet and received a stole and gift basket and then got their photo taken.
The Chick-Fil-A cow mascot was even in attendance to honor the graduates.
“We are so proud of everything they have accomplished! Congratulations to our Class of 2020!!!”
