A woman defends her home against a 19 year old intruder who broke into their home and assaulted her fiancee
In Fredericksburg Texas a homeowner was awaken by a loud noise on his back patio. 73 year old Curtis Roys went to see what was causing the commotion when he encountered Cleto Neri Solorzano.
The 19 year old intruder pushed his way into Roys’ home through the patio door and then assaulted Roys with a blunt object. At that point Solorzano put Roys into a choke hold causing him to lose consciousness
Roys’ fiancee, Melody Lumpkin pleaded with Solorzano to stop assaulting him. When he didn’t let go of her fiancee, Lumpkin retrieved her handgun from the bedroom and fired a warning shot.
When the warning shot didn’t stop the intruder and she realized her fiancee wasn’t moving she fired an other shot hitting Solorzano in the head.
The couple then proceeded to call 911. Solorzano was treated for his wounds but later pronounced dead.
The Sheriff’s office believes that Solorzano was on drugs at the time of the incident.
