Just shortly after 10am this morning a charter bus rolled down an embankment off of a Southern California highway, killing 3 people and injuring 18.
The bus rolled off of the highway and landed on it’s roof this morning on State route 76 about 45 miles north of San Diego.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene to help rescue passengers who were caught in the bus. Three people died at the scene and 18 others were taken to local hospitals to be treated for injuries.
At this point the cause of the accident is unknown and under investigation.
